found on flickr. I've never heard of Burano before. It's in Venice!! learn something new everyday. In Buenos Aires there is a fomous suburb and the houses are painted in different colours also. I shall try to find some photos and remember el nombre.

I was in Burano in June 2007. It's just up the canal from Murano where they make all the fantastic glassware and jewellery. The town had to get special permission to paint every house a different colour. Infact they are the only town where this is a reqirement, if you live there. truly an amazing sight to see.
